Color - The Biggest Secret in Beach Cottage Decorating and Coastal Home Decor

Whenever you think about beach cottage decorating, nautical decorating, coastal home decor, beach decor, coastal design, coastal crafts or coastal style, think color, color, COLOR! Why am I so excited? Well, have you ever been to the Caribbean? The tropical sunshine makes everything a gazillion times brighter. Greens are greener, blues are bluer and the colorful houses and buildings take  beach cottage decorating, coastal home decor, nautical decorating (and all of the above) to an all new level of decorating! The interiors are also just as colorful as the exteriors!

I know what some of you are thinking: "That's all good and well in the Caribbean but I can't do that where I live!" Of course you can! (Not the colorful exteriors though!)
